“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart.” – Jeremiah 1:5

Anything that God causes to have life, has purpose. From the beginning God decided that you are a necessary part of creation, and so you are here by divine design. One of the most asked questions in life is, why am I here? You are here because you matter. And most importantly, you matter to God.

For I know the plans I have for you,  declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.´- Jeremiah 29:11

How awesome it is to know that there is a plan for your life orchestrated by God. Regardless of where you are today, whether high or low, God plans on making it better.

Another thing that’s worth knowing is that you don’t have to do life alone. You matter so much that “the LORD your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.” – Deuteronomy 31:8.

“You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession.” – 1 Peter 2:9

You are chosen. Handpicked by God, and deemed special. Your very being is proof that you matter to God. A part of the beauty of life is the journey in uncovering the fullness of who God made you to be. But it starts with knowing that you are a reflection of Him. You are fearfully and wonderfully made. Look in the mirror, and tell yourself that until you can see it, and believe it, and know it.
