We all know that Christian women are naturally expected to dress modest. But the truth is we want to be fashionable too! Who says you can’t be fashionable and modest at the same time? Whether you’re going to church or a gospel event, here are some pointers to help you achieve a tasteful, & fashionable, yet modest look.
• Invest in a nice pair of quality pumps. The classic pump is fitting for most (if not all) occasions, and can be worn year round too!
• The pencil skirt is stylish elegant and versatile. Use these styles as a reference the next time you shop for your next gospel event.
• Check out these trendy tops to compliment your skirt!

That’s the truth, christen women are expected to dress modest. But many fail to realize that we can also be fashionable at the same time. All of the outfits are trendy and respectable. I would definitely wear them, two Thumbs ups.
Once we remember that our bodies are also holy temples and we should not wear stuff that would be attract the wrong attention and cause others to lust. The dress code shown here is quite acceptable. Watch out for the cleavage.
I love the pencil skirt ideas and fashionable tops. I is true you want to be stylish as a Christian Woman but not exposing yourself. You don’t want to get the wrong attention.
I love these skirts.. They’re absolutely sexy and chic!! Definitely a great twist to modern and classy!!
Love this post. For future reference can links to the websites where said clothing is found be provided?
Thanks
Being Modest doesn’t mean that style and sex appeal go out the window…these outfits are modest yet very sexy and stylish….love it! Would love it as well if there was a link to purchase some of these items! God Bless!
For a woman as shapely as I am. Pencil skirts draw way too much attention to my backside. As an alternate I would suggest an A-Line skirt verses a pencil. It still shows you have an attractive shape but not so much attention, because it isn’t hugging anything
Where do I buy these pieces is what I want to know?
Though something is fashionable, it still does not mean that it is for everyone’s body type. You have to know what compliments your shape, all in good taste. Too tight, is not right, so be sexy and modest and remember WHO you serve. To all the single ladies; the type of clothes you wear also reflects the type of man you attract. So be mindful.
Also, it’s not just about “what you wear” but “how you wear it and how you carry yourself in it”. Let the Holy Spirit be your guide. That ‘inner man’ always convicts you as needed. If you have already turned off that ‘little voice inside’; ask God to help you to hear Him again, he will answer you…
I love the tops and pencil skirts. Very chic! I would definitely wear those pieces with Pink Velvet jewelry!!! 😉
Thanks for the tip ladies. I always have a hard time getting it
together.
I love the skirt picks. All are very classy, chic, fun and fashionable.
What about some clothing advice for the fellas? lol.
This is so true. Christian ladies should always look classy.
I dig the pencil skirt look, but at times it can come off a lil too form fitting and sexy, especially for church. I would just like to know where to purchase the ones I like.
Oh and I cant wait to see what else you have in store for the Fashion section! I want shoes! Good job on the website!
Very nice choices. Who says you can’t have sex appeal when you go to church? Times have changed. When I used to go to church frequently (some 10 years ago) I used to wear dress pants and buttoned down shirts. Those days are gone. Plus, that pencil skirt might snag me my future husband. 🙂
Ladies you have to remember that:
1. Sex appeal is not showing your boobs, low hanging cleavage, tight skirts. It’s confidence, style, and grooming.
2. Do you really think that being sexy will help you find the “right” man? If you do you need to re-evaluate your requirements and step back.
Most of the outfits are cool. The super tight skirts??? Not so much. This isn’t a wedding. This is church. Modest doesn’t mean boring it means not forward, bold or boastful. So if you are hawking for a man with your body that’s forward. If you are showing the cleavage with baby oil rubbed on your breasts with a push up bra that’s bold and boastful.
I love to see my sistahs with style. I don’t want to see them advertising themselves nor should they draw my focus away from the LORD. If they do, my wondering eye is not the only problem but it’s her style of dress.
