INDIANAPOLIS…has been home of many secular artists, musicians, and actors/actresses as well as many gospel greats. Newcomers LCP Music Group, a new gospel record company, will release its first national imprint, “I Am A Worshipper,” from Indianapolis native Demetrius West and his newly formed aggregation, Authority. West, who has been in gospel music now for over 10 years, serves as the record company’s president. Debut album I am a worshipper set to release april 4th.

The GRAMMY, Stellar, and Dove award winner returns with the follow up to the smash hit The Law of Confession, Part 1. The album’s title track continues with scripturally based lyrics, impeccable harmonies, and a cameo from Dorinda Clark-Cole that has hit written all over it. Look for the album in May 2011.

Light Records
For two decades, this aggregation has been at the forefront of choir music. They are back with their eighth release and their first with Light Records. Led by the driving single “God Is Great”, this album looks to be another classic release. Keep Living is due in stores April 26.

The 2011 Dove Awards, the Christian version of the Grammys, will be held at the historic Fox Theatre’s Grand Salon on April 20.
