Sacrifice. Commitment. Courage. Loyalty. Bravery. Heroism. That’s who Christ was and that’s who he called us to be. To be a leader in Christ means to embrace these traits, and apply them to our everyday living. God commands us as Christians to let our light shine before men that they may see your good works, and glorify our Father who is in heaven (Matthew 5:16).

Being a beacon of truth to others means living in a way that our lives are an example to others letting them know that Jesus is the truth, light and savior of the world. The way we walk, the way we talk, our acts of service and kindness should all embody the man Christ Jesus.

God is our father, our creator, our everything. He is the centerpiece of our existence and in him we should always aim to please. If we as Christians make no effort to affect the world around us we have no value to God. If we are too much like the world we are worthless to him.

This world is full of sin, crime, dishonesty, and unrighteousness. What more can you expect from people and things of the world? As Christians we are called to be separate beings with a higher purpose. We can’t turn our Christianity on and off when we feel like. As Christians God requires that we don’t look, sound or behave like everyone else. The children, followers, and leaders of God are required to strive for more than what the world has to offer. The greatest joy will come in knowing we are doing God’s will.

We must realize that our living, our praying, our teaching, our singing, our ministry is not in vain; because up the road is eternal gain. Don’t be afraid to lead. Guard your hearing, your seeing, and what you’re speaking. Keep ya focus !!! Remember there’s work to do.
