Fear as we know it is a natural human response to a perceived threat; however it is also a SPIRITUAL CONDITION we encounter from feeling alone and disconnected from God. Remember when Adam said “I was afraid” in the Garden of Eden and went to run and hide from God? He was afraid of what God might do to him for being disobedient.
A few months ago I was accosted over the phone by a music research company soliciting people to take a survey. As a part of my maturation and emotional development, I have made it a point to not be rude to people, particularly random strangers who take up unwarranted time.
Kevin Thompson saw a void in Christian social media and sought to fill it right away. Christ Nation, the Christian facebook (if you will) is a new interactive site for all Christians, no matter what your background or denomination. Prayer is the act of communicating, listening and talking with God, our Father through Jesus Christ to help us develop our relationship with God. There have been many times that I’ve witnessed a ‘witness’ attempting to minister the gospel in public. Interestingly enough, whether I was on the bus, the train, or simply walking by in public, the expressions of the solicited audience were all the same.
Caught in between a rock and a hard place with barely enough room to lift your hands up to wipe the blood, sweat, and tears from your face. You’re submerged in the ocean of pain, way down deep past hurt and shame, where the darkness of loss and heartache are the only forms of light you see.
Not too long ago I had a conversation with two friends of mine on our way to a rehearsal for a gospel play. The topic of spiritual gifts surfaced and God’s calling for your life. My friend said to me “So Tony what is your gift from God?” I responded “I think its singing.
God is amazing. He is the “Alpha” and the “Omega”

What’s the difference you ask? Webster’s Dictionary defines religion as “The service and worship of God or the supernatural; commitment or devotion to religious faith or observance.
I wish I could prove to my peers that God is real. But I can’t. The question of is there or isn’t there a God is one that will always revolve around the minds of many until that day, as I believe, when He comes. I’ve had countless conversations that came with endless questions, only for nothing to be resolved.

I’ve been to parties. Quite a few (haven’t you?). But I’m saved (please, hear me out). I didn’t go to “wild out” or to “have fun.” Truthfully speaking, I went to celebrate whatever event at that time called for a celebration (it’s not an excuse, it just honest).
Everybody loves a good story; one that takes us through a whirlwind of emotion and keeps us on the edge of our seat. As humans, we enjoy being entertained whether it’s real life or not. The more emotions felt throughout the story, the more real it becomes.
Often times we feel that as a Christian, we are obligated to be perfect. That some how, once we utter the “sinners prayer” in whatever version our respective places of Worship gives us, we are this magically perfect being with halo and wings to match.
